About me and New Farm

I’m Chris Scarratt, Founder and CEO of New Farm, where I’ve lived all my life. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work with top chefs from around the world, travelling to incredible places like Morocco, Switzerland, and across the UK to perfect my craft. But ultimately, I came back to New Farm, the place I love, to build my business.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of cooking for thousands of events—from small private dinners to large outdoor celebrations. My clients have ranged from Royalty and TV celebrities to successful entrepreneurs, and I’m proud to have earned a reputation for delivering outstanding food and exceptional service.

I am passionate about creating bespoke menus that are not only delicious, but tailored to each individual client’s needs. Whether you're working with a specific budget or looking for something truly unique, my experience in the hospitality industry allows me to craft a personalised solution for any event.

This passion for food naturally led me to launch the cookery school at New Farm, where I could share my love for cooking with others.

Today, I work with a talented team of experts, all dedicated to creating unforgettable events and experiences. We collaborate closely with local producers and suppliers to ensure everything is thoughtfully designed, from start to finish.
