Learn New Culinary Skills with New Farm
At New Farm, we bring over 20 years of experience in kitchens and events to design unique, hands-on cooking experiences. Our cooking classes are tailored to your group’s skill level following a consultation, ensuring everyone feels engaged and confident in the kitchen.
Whether you’re a novice or seasoned chef, we create delicious, fun-to-make recipes for all participants, while accommodating any dietary preferences or intolerances.
What to Expect on the Day
Your team will start the day with a warm welcome and refreshments, like tea or coffee. Afternoon tea can also be provided on request to keep you going later on in the day.
Afterwards, you will explore our state-of-the-art kitchen and ingredient rooms, learning about the diverse ingredients you will use.
The day culminates in an exciting cooking competition. Menu theme options include Street Food, MasterChef Canapés, Bake-off or Pies & Tarts, which you would have decided on before the big day.
Chris Scarratt and his expert team will then lead a cooking demonstration, showing your group how to prepare a special recipe. Individuals or teams will then recreate the demonstrated dishes under timed conditions. A panel will judge the dishes, and we’ll crown a winning group.
The day will end with everyone enjoying their creations!
