I wanted to drop you a short note to thank you once again for all the effort you put in to make my recent birthday party such a success. I can’t believe how many people have said that it was genuinely the best party they have ever attended. You played a major part in that. I was delighted with both the quality and the quantity of the food you prepared for us and the professionalism of your catering and bar staff. As I said in my speech on the night, I couldn’t have commissioned anyone in The City of London who would have done a better job. We asked Chris to prepare a BBQ Training Course for our Sales Team covering all aspects of H&S, food preparation and BBQ Techniques in order that we could offer to BBQ at various Trade Events that we attend giving us an additional U.S.P every gets Hungry at these events and we get an opportunity to engage with them in a friendly atmosphere . We learnt such a lot from this and all staff obtained their Food Hygiene certificate whilst having a great deal of Fun . We then prepared an incredible feast during the afternoon session which had a very competitive element . I would thoroughly recommend using the Cookery School as a great Team Building Event with very tasty Finale.

New Farm Catering did the catering for my wife’s and my son’s birthday a couple of week’s ago. As the party was arranged at the last minute, we asked Chris to just go head and cater for about 30 people. The food was absolutely fantastic and we had a great time. Thank you Chris.
Had a fantastic day yesterday with Chris learning how to make Pies and pastries. We learnt how to make a hot water crust pork pie and a sweet pastry for tarts (his secret Christmas Tart recipe will be a firm favourite now for many years to come) We mastered the art of latticework for salmon and chicken en croute dishes. His enthusiasm and easy teaching style was a massive confidence boost and not only did we make many things in one day we also sampled and took them home. A fabulous lunch of Vegetable Wellington with a simple roast garlic and herb sauce made the day (all with the knowledge and know how to do it ourselves). A fantastic day which Chris tailored to myself and my friend.
Chris, Thank you for the wonderful culinary experience gained at the Cookery School this week. Even for those that may not have a passion working with food, it was a great corporate team building exercise that enabled the team to bond whilst preparing their evening dinner. To conclude with such a highlight of the day, to sit down with a sense of achievement sampling the culinary delights that we prepared will leave a lasting memory.
Chris organised a tasting evening for four of us in anticipation of our upcoming wedding – we booked New Farm as our caterer immediately after tasting the food! We tried a fantastic and varied selection of canapés – all of which were incredible! The starters, mains and deserts we tasted were equally as good – it has made it very difficult for us to decide on our final wedding menu! Chris had set out a lovely table for us upon arrival, showed us round the kitchens, gave some information on his background as a chef and when serving the food, talked us through each dish in detail, which we really appreciated. Couldn’t recommend New Farm enough – we can’t wait for our wedding breakfast now!
Chris and his team did the catering for my mother’s 80th birthday party at our home. I cannot recommend them highly enough! We had canapés that were out of this world! Cooked to perfection, imaginative, delicious and served up with such style and grace! The main courses were beautifully presented and also delicious and the puddings were so scrummy. All the thoughtful extras like remembering to bring ice buckets and extra salt and pepper and brown sugar for the coffee. So many little touches that made our day really, really special. I have no doubt we will be calling upon Chris again for our next celebrations and I am very tempted to join him on a cookery course this Autumn in their state of the art catering kitchen. Thanks Chris – you were a star!
Chris and his team could not have been lovelier or more helpful! From booking them up until the very end they helped me create the perfect evening! The food was exquisite and compliments from all my guests keep pouring it! Would highly recommend, I couldn’t have asked for better food or service.
A belated Christmas present I spent a day with two friends at New Farm with Chris on a Pattisere course. How great! We made a wonderful selection and took home lots of goodies, had a lovely lunch which Chris cooked for us! A non stop day but can’t wait to go again, I am confident now to try things and have picked up a few professional tips. My next course will be fish and then I want to do game cookery. Can’t praise Chris enough for his patience and enthusiasm!! Brilliant!!!
